We were involved with the refurbishment of three properties opposite Windsor Castle which were owned by a charity. As the properties were to be sold to raise funds and the specification was high reflecting the price of property in the surrounding area. A bespoke spray painted door was specified together with a requirement for a handleless kitchen. To emphasise the bespoke nature of the kitchen, we designed a furniture version of the aluminium trim currently used on many German kitchens and incorporated its use within our bespoke design. Only minor amendments to the furniture units were required and the client achieved a substantial cost saving over a German kitchen whilst having a softer design. Miele appliances and Silestone worktops complemented the kitchen furniture’s quality and timber islands added some warmth and natural colour to the kitchen areas.
