About This Project

This was an architect design led project in a mews house in Harley Street. Due to the design requirements of the project, a bespoke door was required to achieve the architect’s vision. Although marble was the preferred material for the island worktop, the porous nature of this product coupled with it’s inability to withstand the damaging effects of everyday kitchen items such as lemon juice and cleaning products resulted in the use of a newly released Silestone quartz material designed to replicate marble visually. Building the units to the ceiling was a key requirement requiring bespoke furniture housings.
